What They Say

Great sandwiches at good prices with no nonsense service, a go-to spot for locals. Breakfast and lunch equally good. Grub hub menu doesn’t capture half what they offer. Some younger customers may not recognize sandwiches named for retired Yankees–Teixeira, CC Sabathia, etc–but you eat the sandwich not the name.

Great deli! I can’t believe I have lived here for years before trying it out! Got sandwiches and other foods for the whole family and everything was delicious! Eggplant parmigiana was delicious. My husband tried roast beef and Grandma had one of the specialty sandwiches (the Julieta I believe?) and everyone loved their meals. They also have great rice pudding and even my particular 4-year-old loved every bite! We’ll all be back! Maybe today! Convenient location in Vista.

Last Friday I called to order 17 heros for Monday pick-up at 11:30am. Order taken, very simple and did not want payment at that time.

I arrived on Monday at 11:28 am, all sandwiches just finished up and away I went after payment.

Sandwiches were awesome, especially the Italian combos and I liked the Chicken Salad. Full sandwiches, tasty and you get your monies worth!!! Excellent deli and the daily hot bar and roast beef looked great too! Definitely the spot while in or near Vista, NY.
